Privacy Policy

Who we are

Latino Connection Foundation ("LCF," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based at 940 East Park Drive, Suite 204, Harrisburg, PA 17111. This policy applies to wearelcf.org and the forms on it.

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to send us. That includes:

• Contact messages. Your name, email address, phone number if you add it, the topic you pick, your preferred language, and your message.
• Requests for help. When you ask for help with housing, health, school, work, or other needs, you may tell us about your household and your situation. Please share only what we need to understand your request.
• Program applications and interest forms. For programs such as CCC, the LCF Junior Board, and Healthy Futures, we ask for the participant's name and age, a parent or guardian's contact details, and the other information the application lists.
• Donations. Gifts are processed by Neon CRM, our donor management provider. We receive your name, contact details, gift amount, and any note you add. Your full card or bank details go to Neon's payment processor, and LCF does not see or store them.
• Job applications. When you email us a resume, we use it only to consider you for the position.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically:

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use the site, such as which pages they visit, what device they use, their approximate location, and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not use it for advertising.
• Form details. When you send a form, it also records the page you sent it from, the website that referred you, and campaign tags in the web address, so we know which pages and campaigns bring people to us.
• Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, and not an automated program, is sending them. It looks at basic signals from your browser.
• Hosting. Our website host, Webflow, keeps standard server records such as IP addresses and browser types to run and secure the site.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Answer your questions and respond to requests for help
• Provide our programs and services, and review applications
• Process donations and send receipts for your tax records
• Send updates you have asked for, which you can stop at any time
• Improve the website and understand which pages are useful
• Keep the site and our forms secure
• Meet our legal obligations

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share information only in these cases:

• With service providers that help us run the site and our work, and only for that purpose. These include Webflow (website and forms), Neon CRM (donations and contacts), and Google (analytics and email).
• With partner organizations, with your permission. If you ask for help that another organization provides, we will ask you before we share your details with them.
• When the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Sensitive information

Requests for help can include personal details about housing, health, or money. Only LCF staff who need these details to help you can see them, and we keep what you share confidential. Please do not send Social Security numbers, medical records, or bank details through a website form. If we need documents, a staff member will tell you how to share them safely.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13. Forms for youth programs are meant to be completed by a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have received personal information from a child under 13 without a parent's consent, we will delete it.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Some content on our pages comes from other services, such as the Neon CRM donation form. These services may set their own cookies, which their own privacy policies cover.

If you receive emails from us, every email has a link to unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law (for example, donation records for tax purposes)

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires.

How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections and access limited to staff who need it. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as partner organizations and Neon CRM donation pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "last updated" date.
