Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This page explains the standard we work to, how we test the site, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.

The standard we work to
We build and check this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These are the guidelines most widely used to make websites usable for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have a motor or cognitive disability.
What we have done
- The whole site can be used with a keyboard, and the item you are on is always clearly outlined.
- Pages use headings in order, so screen readers and other tools can move through them.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
- Form fields have labels, and when something is missing, the form tells you what to fix.
- Movement on the site stops for visitors who have turned on "reduce motion" on their device, and scrolling text pauses when you point at it or move to it with the keyboard.
- Text in Spanish is marked as Spanish, so screen readers read it in the right language.
- Pages work on phones, tablets, and computers, and when you zoom in to 200 percent.
How we test
Before launch, and again whenever a page changes, we check each page:
- With automated testing tools, at desktop, tablet, and phone sizes
- By hand, using only a keyboard
- For color contrast, headings, labels, links, and text descriptions
We keep a dated record of each test. This site was last tested on October 30, 2026.
Known limitations
We are still working on some parts of the site:
- The donation form is provided by Neon CRM, our donation provider, so we cannot change all of it. If you have trouble giving online, call or email us and we will help you give another way.
- PDF documents, such as reports and job descriptions, may not be fully accessible. We can send you the same information in another format.
- Some colors in our brand do not always meet contrast guidelines. We are reviewing them.
